The educational film will be distributed on DVD and come bundled with the traditional textbook dealing with forklift operations, handling and security.
-Adapting a very scholastic text to a traditional film script has been quite a challenging process, says video producer and storyboard artist Daniel Almli.

-Finding exciting scenes and ways to dramatize situations that a forklift operator might encounter was the easy part, but maintaining the strict and solid way of incorporating the learning curve applied in the textbook was always the primary objective.

The film will benefit from collaboration with the Maritime Colours’ 3D-department, where 3D will be applied to visualize what the cameras simply cannot.

-I believe that Maritime Colours has a real advantage in terms of producing scholastic and educational films, says Studio Manager Kjetil Fjellbirkeland.

-The strong collaboration between the film department and the 3D-dept as well as high in-house industrial competence makes us highly suitable for handling the challenges in this form of film production. We wish to increase our attention and focus on this kind of film production in the future.
